Conflict can create distance, defensiveness and the feeling that there is no way forward.
NVC mediation offers another possibility: supporting people in conflict to reconnect with themselves, hear one another more deeply and move towards solutions that take everyone’s needs into account.
The Mediate Your Life Programme is an intensive training in Nonviolent Communication (NVC) mediation, combining solid conceptual foundations with extensive practice and integration between the modules.
The programme consists of three four-day modules, with learning and practice continuing between the meetings.
What will you develop?
Throughout the programme, you will develop key skills for working with conflict, including the ability to:
-support people in conflict so that they can hear and understand one another;
-stay empathically connected with people in difficult and emotionally charged situations;
-translate judgments, blame and criticism into the language of needs;
-remain present and connected with yourself in the midst of intense conflict;
-express yourself from an awareness of your own needs;
-support others in expressing clear requests and creating collaborative solutions;
-bringing mediation skills into different areas of life.
The programme explores mediation not only as a professional skill, but also as a way of relating to conflict in everyday life.
You will have an opportunity to practise:
=> mediating conflicts between other people as a third party;
=> navigating and transforming conflicts in your own relationships;
working with conflicting inner voices and internal tensions;
=> bringing mediation skills into coaching, facilitation and group work.
Who is this programme for? We warmly welcome:
–> coaches and facilitators;
–> trainers and educators;
–> mediators working within NVC or other approaches;
–> professionals supporting individuals, teams and groups;
–> NVC practitioners who want to deepen their capacity to work with conflict;
–> people who want to develop practical skills for transforming conflict through dialogue and collaboration.
You don’t need to identify as a professional mediator to benefit from the programme.
The skills developed here can support you in your professional practice, your relationships and the conflicts you encounter in everyday life.
The trainers: Anna Mills & Ola Gołaszewska &Asia Berendt
The number of trainers present during each module will depend on the number of participants.
Programme format: each training day runs from 10:00 to 17:00, with a one-hour lunch break.
The time between the modules is an integral part of the learning process, allowing participants to practise, reflect and integrate the skills developed during the training.
We invite you to explore conflict not as a battle to be won, but as an opportunity to reconnect, understand and create new possibilities together.
