Have you ever felt stuck in an NVC process despite your best intentions?
Sometimes, we try to jump straight into identifying feelings and needs („Are you feeling anxious?”, „Do you need safety and consideration?”), but instead of relief and connection, we encounter freeze, overwhelm, or shutdown. Why does this happen?
In states of high nervous system activation or trauma triggers, jump-starting into needs exploration can be too overwhelming. Before we can offer or receive empathy, we first need solid somatic grounding and an understanding of what happens within our inner landscape when survival mechanisms take over.
We invite you to a 2-hour interactive online workshop where we will bridge Nonviolent Communication (NVC) with trauma awareness, resilience principles, and the Split Model of the Psyche.
What You Will Experience & Take Away
We will move from theory into hands-on somatic and self-awareness practices:
-Somatic Grounding vs. Classical Empathy: Discover why grounding in the body and environment must precede needs exploration, and learn how to safely anchor your attention in the present moment.
-Split Model: Gain clarity on the dynamics between your Healthy Self, Traumatized Part, and Survival Part.
-Resilience Mapping: Identify internal and external safety anchors to build flexible, adaptive boundaries.
Who Is This Workshop For?
NVC practitioners, trainers, mediators, and empathy group facilitators.
Anyone looking to deepen self-regulation, better understand their stress responses, and bring a trauma-informed lens into their relationships and practice.
Event Details:
-Date: 9.09.2026
-Time: 11:00-13:00
